Recently Autotrader have changed their search engine. This has resulted in Autopromotor having to provide a CAP I.D with every vehicle to ensure that they are displayed in the correct Autotrader section and sub-section. The CAP I.D is provided by the DVLA look up facilities. The DVLA does not have a CAP I.D linked to every vehicle. If no CAP I.D is found, then you would need to manually look these up in a CAP guide. This DLVA look up is the same DVLA look up used by Autotrader’s Dealer Edit system.
Wow that was a wet day.
Alan Stuart & Alan Wileman both drove in extremely wet conditions and gave all passengers a real taste of racing in the wet at Britain's favourite circuit.
There was much squealing not from the tyres but from the passenger seat.
The humble E30 318 & 320 Beemers were lapping Ferrari 430's and Porsche 911's with aplomb.
This is due to a good wet setup as well as mostly wet races to get the hang of appalling conditions!
Thanks to everyone who came along despite the extreme conditions and many thanks to Alan Wileman of Brookland Cars ( an Autopromtor client ) for taking passengers around in his Bright yellow BMW 320. Most said the view from the side window was better than the front! He does like to get the tail out at any opportunity.
Alan Stuarts White BMW 318 will be racing in the Birkett 6 hour relay race at Sliverstone on October 27th in a team of 6 cars ( All BMW ) This is a handicap race so there is a really good chance of a podium.
Below is a selection of photos from the day.
Lets hope the next one will be a little bit drier...
